Coming all the way from Connecticut (boba tea shop owners back home) we wanted to try California’s Boba tea shop! We came Wednesday 4:45 pm and ordered 4 drinks. None of us were greeted. The young woman working with nice make up on had “I don’t want to be bothered energy.” Not one person said hello or acknowledged anybody (I was with 1 other adult and 4 kids). Poor customer service. We all got the brown sugar milk boba. Boba had an after taste of tap water so I’m not sure if that is kind of like the taste of the Boba or if it was cooked in tapwater. The brown sugar milk was decent tasting despite the interesting tap water boba after taste.

I ordered a matcha latte with cheese foam and it tasted like milk with minimal matcha flavor. ( No, I did not drink away the bottom layer). Irvine has really high boba competition. I would love to see this place make improvements to the drinks and succeed here.

Had the lychee with one zo boba and oat milk. Asked for no extra sugar but it was still very sweet. Medium sized drink came to 10 bucks including tips and taxes which is pretty expensive in my opinion. Couldn't find any drinking water or paper napkins easily. Lots of seating space outside the shop, so good spot for a big group. Easy to find parking.
